A Scott Academy is a newly formed private and community-based training school for young actors, writers and performers aged 7 – 25. Established in 2018 by former actor and founder of A Scott Productions, Aysha Scott.

Our unique acting, filmmaking and creative writing workshops run on a weekly basis and have been designed to support young people who show a keen interest in a career in the media or entertainment industry. These industry-led workshops are taught by professional actors, writers and directors who share their expertise and teach fundamental skills in Film and TV acting, scriptwriting, camera operating, editing, song-writing, casting and audition techniques, as well as performing, directing and producing.

Young people are taught in our fun, inspiring, bespoke workshop programmes that offer media training as a valuable resource for improving social development, confidence and giving young people a safe space to master their talents at an accessible, affordable rate.

Over the past year we have collaborated with Elevating Success and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing to deliver our workshops to over 100 young people in the Lewisham and Wandsworth borough.

All staff employed by A Scott Productions are fully qualified, have an enhanced DBS, Safeguarding and 1st Aid training.
